The education department, publications office, film library, and union schools provide facilities for the training of union members and future labor leaders. Emphasizes the role of the individual member, his interest and participation in union activities being the key to improved working conditions and living standards. NB: This is the original film sponsored by the United Automobile Workersí Union, CIO. In 1952 the Labor Information Division of the MSA/SRE sponsored a re-edited version. At this writing, no copies of the MSA/SRE adaptation have been located. Anyone interested in using the original film should contact the WPR. The foreign-language versions of the MSA/SRE adaptation were called PíTIT LOUIS (Belgian French), JAN JANSEN (Belgian Dutch/Flemish) KAMRAT JOHN (Swedish), and THE UNITED AUTOMOBILE WORKERS OF AMERICA (Norwegian).
