R1: Stone marker: “Arnem,” rooftops of the city; unidentified monuments; military cemetery, Star of David over grave; Rotterdam: buildings, brick building going up, bricklayers laying wall; windows; windmills; country village from field, herd of cows in pasture, men working near milk cans, man milking cow, wheels of cheese, bearded man handling cheese; fishing boats at pier, Dutch burghers near fishing boats. R2: coal carts moving into industrial plant; machines cutting and stacking peat; manufacturing drills, youths being trained in machine shop; lens polishing; electric and electronic equipment manufactured in Holland; Amsterdam: diamond cutters at work; giant land reclamation projects, farms on reclaimed land, earth samples being taken from the sea and tested in the lab, new homes and farms on reclaimed lands; ship loads and unloads at Rotterdam docks; barges underway. 1950.
