Sound (French), b&w, 22 min. This film deals with the labor problems facing a small country which, in order to maintain a balanced economy, must rely more and more on industry. This in turn produces the problem of finding the skilled labor to fill the many jobs created by industrial expansion. The need for technical training centers and elementary technical schools in Holland is emphasized, and we see how the various programs of technical education in Holland are geared to the needs of industry. The film also points to the need for training unskilled workers to adapt to jobs requiring new manipulative skills.
