Description: Sound (English?), b&w, 10 min. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, charged with the defense of Western Europe, necessarily must bring into everyday contact individuals of the 14 member nations as they actively plan and build vital military defenses. Also involved in these everyday contacts are the civilian populations. This film shows something of how the local French people are getting along with the American personnel at the airbase at Châteauroux, where American and French technicians are building yet another link in the chain of Western security. It is a working partnership in which everyone contributes “a little give and take” TO GET THE JOB DONE. NB: This film is a re-edited version of the T.V. documentary KEEP ‘EM FLYING. Produced by Cinetone Studios, Amsterdam, for MSA/SRE.
