Description: Sound (English), b&w, 13 min. This is the story of the people of Aunay-sur-Odon, in France, and their three towns. The first was the old town which they knew and loved, destroyed in the invasion of Normandy. Refusing to abandon the old town, they then built a shantytown. Today, theirs is a modern town, complete with a new hospital, built by them with the help of the French Government and the Marshall Plan. 13 min. 1950, Tele-Radio-Cine Productions, Paris, for ECA France.
